12月8日、初めての試みとして、名古屋大学とタイの協定校であるチュラロンコン大学の博士課程学生10名による融合研究交流ワークショップをオンラインで行いました。ワークシップの目的は、国を超えて異分野の学生が交流を図り、国際的なネットワークを広げ、視野を広げると同時に将来的な融合研究の可能性を探るというものでした。

参加者の研究科は経営、法学、理学、工学、環境学、創薬科学、生命農学等多岐に渡り、各学生による研究内容の発表、質疑応答に続き、小グループに分かれてのディスカッションを行いました。研究内容の発表では、異分野の研究者にいかに自身の研究を分かりやすく発表するかを考え、スライドの見せ方など工夫を凝らしたプレゼンが多く見られました。

実施後のアンケートでは、１００％の学生が「非常に満足、満足」と回答、同じく100％の学生が、今後もこのようなイベントに参加したいと答えました。以下にアンケートのコメントを抜粋します。他の分野の研究を知ることで刺激を得たり、視野が広がったいうコメントが寄せられました。2026年度も開催頻度を増やす、参加対象を広げるなどして実施を検討しています。
