We will hold an event where company representatives and doctoral students can interact with each other in English.
Companies interested in hiring international students are invited to attend this event.
Many international students struggle to secure jobs with Japanese companies due to challenges like unfamiliarity with Japanese culture and the job hunting process, or limited Japanese language skills. This event aims to help you understand Japanese companies better, identify skills to improve during your graduate studies (such as Japanese language proficiency and team building skills), and ensure you are well-prepared for the job hunting process in Japan.
The main target audience is doctoral students who wish to work in Japan, but Japanese doctoral students who aim to become international businesspersons are also welcome to participate.

－Program and Dates

※The entire process of this event will be conducted in English.

●Prep Seminar on Oct. 10th (Fri) 13:30~16:30　＜Venue＞ITbM 1F Lecture Room, Higashiyama Campus
　The prep seminar covers the purpose of the event and provides an overview of Japanese companies and job hunting in Japan. All participants must attend.

●Interaction with companies on Nov. 5th (Wed)13:30~16:30　＜Venue＞Noyori Conference Hall, Higashiyama Campus
　1）Poster Presentation by PhD Talents
　　　　Poster presentations in English for companies
　2）Presentation by companies (3 mins each)
　　　　Companies will present in English on their business and desired talent
　3）Interaction with companies (20 mins per company X 4 rounds)
　　　　Engage with companies in a roundtable discussion

－Eligibility　PhD students and postdoctoral fellows at Nagoya University. 
*The event is intended for international students, and Japanese students aiming to be international business professionals are also welcome!

企業の担当者と、博士後期課程の学生が英語で交流するイベントを開催します。
今回のイベントには、外国籍留学生の採用に関心のある企業にご参加いただきます。
これまで外国籍留学生においては、日本企業の就活方法、日本語能力、日本文化の理解不足などにより、日本企業への就職がかなわない場合も多々ありました。本イベントを通して、日本企業のことを深く知ってください。そして、大学院生活で、専門性以外に何を向上させるといいのか（例えば日本語能力やチームビルディングなど）を知ってください。さらには日本の就活に乗り遅れることがないように準備を進めてください。
なお、主な対象は日本での就職を希望する博士後期課程の学生ですが、国際派ビジネスパーソンを目指す日本人の博士後期課程の学生の参加も歓迎します。

－プログラムと日時

※下記両方の日時への参加必須です。
※全てのプロセスを英語で行います。

●事前セミナー：10月10日（金）13:30～16:30　＜会場＞東山キャンパス ITbM　1F　レクチャールーム
　本イベントの目的を理解し、「日本企業の特徴」や「日本企業への就職活動の概要」を学ぶための事前セミナーです。
　イベント参加者は、必ずこのセミナーに参加してください。

●企業との交流：11月5日（水）13:30～16:30　＜会場＞東山キャンパス 野依記念学術交流館
　1）博士人材のポスター発表
　　　企業の担当者に向けて、英語でポスター発表を行います。
　2）企業プレゼン（3分/1社）
　　　企業の担当者が、自社の事業や求める人材像等について、英語でプレゼンします。
　3）企業担当者と交流（20分/1社×4回）
　　　座談会形式で、企業の担当者と交流します。

－対　象　名古屋大学所属の博士後期課程の学生・ポストドクター
※英語での開催のため外国籍留学生を想定していますが、国際派ビジネスパーソンを目指す日本人も歓迎します！
