海外でのポスドクや企業に就職する際、応募書類としてCVが求められます。魅力的なCVとはどのようなものでしょうか？このセミナーでは、一般的なCVの形式を紹介するだけでなく、履歴書との違いを説明し、CVと履歴書の使い分けなども紹介します。また、CVに書くべき情報は世界共通なのか、どのように自分のスキル等を記述するか、CVにおけるダッシュ（—）の効果的な使い方など、CVに関わる疑問からちょっとしたテクニックまで取り扱います。ぜひこの機会に、学術的な分野だでなく様々な職種においても通じるユニークで魅力的なCVの書き方をぜひ学んでみませんか？大学院生だけでなく、ポスドクの方の参加も歓迎します。

Recruiters say the PhDs are the most unprepared for the job market. Why? For one, because their CVs are not appealing. Let’s change that!
In this webinar, we will look at the format of CVs, analyze the key differences between an academic CV and a 7-seconds CV/ resume/ rirekishyo and decide when a resume is better than a CV. Is ‘personal information’ same around the world? How do I list my qualifications? Where should I use an ‘en dash’? Do I need references?
Let’s learn how to build unique CVs for our favorite jobs inside and outside of academia. Postdocs are welcomed!

The lecturer received her Ph.D. from Nagoya University. She further learned the teaching method at the University of Toronto in Canada. She is known to be a good speaker of simple English.

海外のポスドクや企業に応募する際、CVが応募者の第一印象となります。講師はこれまでの経験による豊富な事例を使いながら、CVの作り方を詳しく説明します。

A CV is often an employer’s first impression of your professional and academic credentials, in both academic and non-academic job hunting. The lecturer will share plenty of tips from her own experience or from recruiting experts and explain how to write a CV that can open doors for your career.
