My specialty is Child and family nursing. I was also the curriculum chief of the “Wellbeing in Asia Program” in Nagoya University Leading Graduate School Program. We support graduate students to study and explore independently not only in their own fields of expertise but also with Great minds.

I have studied physics, especially astrophysics. During my graduate studies, I gained not only expertise but also the ability to think deeply and share my ideas with others. I would like to support students so that they can broaden their perspectives while building on their own research fields and develop the ability to actively engage with various social issues.

Using my experiences as a management consultant, an executive director of a global education company etc, I hope to help PhDs (both liberal arts and science majors) create innovation in various filelds and become active both within Japan and overseas.

I began providing doctoral career support fifteen years ago. I try to provide close support to our students as they consider their careers after acquiring their PhDs. My aim is to help them in some small way so they are glad they came to Nagoya University and are able to enjoy happy and active careers in society.

By applying knowledge of educational psychology, I consider ways in which graduate students can effectively recognize, train, and utilize their own skills in their future careers.
In collaboration with staff at the Doctoral Education Consortium and other stakeholders, including representatives of other organizations, universities, and companies, we explore roadmaps to allow our PhD candidates to apply their professional knowledge and skills in the real world and to take active roles in society.

I have been carrying out research and development on natural language processing, in particular machine translation. Since the shift in translation technology away from a rules-based approach and towards a machine learning-based approach using big data, I have been engaged in an educational program to train leaders who can create social value by using real world data.
I want to make use of my experience to enrich the education of graduate students, focusing on innovation creation through industry/academia/government cooperative education and e-portfolio construction.

I will do everything I can.

I would like to provide administrative support so that when students complete their studies, they will be happy to have spent time in the doctoral program.

I would like to support the students from administrative standpoint so that they can learn more during their doctoral program period through the activities of the Doctoral Education Consortium.

I aim to provide assistance to help students.
