3年間で博士号を取得するためには、優れた戦略的計画が必要です。このセミナーでは、専門分野／文理を問わず共通する3つのトピックを取り上げます。
(1)タイムラインの設定の仕方
(2)指導教官とどのように協力するか
(3)研究のフロンティアに到達するためのTips

(1)に関連して、参加者と協力して、博士号取得のための重要な日程、重要な日のための準備作業、意識するとよい側面を説明します。
(2)について、指導教官との良好な協力関係は、学位取得のための研究を成功させる鍵となります。講師は、学位候補者が指導教官とどう付き合えばよいかのヒントを概説します。
(3)自分の論文テーマに関する過去の研究の調査は、自分の革新的な研究のための研究の最前線を確認するための重要な作業です。過去の研究を効果的に把握するためのヒントを参加者と共有します。

Earning a Ph.D. in Three Years: a Strategic Planning (English/Nov. 10, 2021)

You need a good strategic plan to earn a Ph.D. in three years. This seminar will focus on three topics.
(1) How to set a time line,
(2) How to work with the supervisor, and
(3) How to reach the research frontier quickly.
In collaboration with the participants, the lecturer will identify the significant dates for a Ph.D. degree, the activities relevant to the significant dates, and some notable aspects of the researcher’s life.
A good working relationship with the supervisor is a key to successful research leading to a degree. The lecturer will clarify the professional relation of a degree candidate and a supervisor.
A review of the past research on your thesis topic is an important task to see the research frontier for your innovative research. The lecturer will share some tips for effective research on past research with participants.
