名古屋大学融合フロンティアフェロー・東海国立大学機構融合フロンティア次世代リサーチャーの新規及び追加募集予定について/ Recruitment and Additional Recruitment for The Nagoya University Interdisciplinary Frontier Fellowship and The THERS Interdisciplinary Frontier Next Generation Researcher

名古屋大学融合フロンティアフェロー及び東海国立大学機構融合フロンティア次世代リサーチャーに対する支援について、令和６年度より国の制度が統一されます。
それに伴い、新たに「東海国立大学機構メイク・ニュー・スタンダード次世代研究事業」を開始します。
学生募集は、下記のとおり実施する予定です。

なお、制度統一に伴い、大学としてJSTに事業申請を行っています。事業申請の結果により、募集内容が大幅に変更になる場合もありますので、その点ご了解ください。

募集要項公開予定日：２月２６日（月）
※例年より１か月程度募集開始が遅れますが、支援期間については、４月に遡及して対象とする予定です。
※募集説明会（オンライン）を2/28(水)13:30-15:00に実施予定です。
募集対象予定：
2025年度（第１回）募集（対象：2025年4月に博士後期課程・医学博士課程入学進学予定者）
2024年度（第２回）募集（対象：2024年4・10月に博士後期課程・医学博士課程入学進学予定者）※１
2023年度追加募集（対象：2024年4・10月に博士後期課程D2、医学博士課程D3進級予定者）
2022年度追加募集（対象：2024年4・10月に博士後期課程D3、医学博士課程D4進級予定者）
※１ 医学博士課程についてはD2進級予定者含む
（医学博士課程は、新たにD1からの応募も可能になる予定です）
ただし、下記に該当する者を除く。
①所属する大学や企業等から、生活費相当額として十分な水準（240 万円／年を基準とする。）で、給与・役員報酬等の安定的な収入を得ていると認められる学生
②国費外国人留学生制度による奨学金を受ける留学生
③母国からの奨学金等の支援を受ける留学生
④日本学術振興会の特別研究員

The Nagoya University Interdisciplinary Frontier Fellowship Project and the THERS Interdisciplinary Frontier Next Generation Researcher Project were restructured from 2024 due to the follow-up project newly launched by the JST. As a result, we are launching the “Make New Standards Program for the Next Generation Researchers”.
The application for the recruitment will open on Monday, February 26th. Please check the information below for a general idea.
Further information for the recruitments will be posted on the Doctoral Education Consortium website (https://dec.nagoya-u.ac.jp/spring_information/). Therefore, please check our website regularly to obtain the latest information. (The information will also be provided via LINE. Please check the website as follows to subscribe to our LINE channel: https://dec.nagoya-u.ac.jp/lineapp/)
The “Make New Standards Program for the Next Generation Researchers” is currently being evaluated by the JST. Please understand that the contents of the application may change depending on the result of the evaluation.

Application Guidelines Announcement: Monday, February 26th, 2024
*The application period will open approximately one month later than in previous years, but the support period will be retroactive to April.
*The online information session will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, 13:30-15;00.
(Possible) Available Recruitments:
1. AY2025 1st Recruitment for those who will enter Nagoya University’s Doctoral Course or Doctoral Course in Medicine in April 2025
2. AY2024 2nd Recruitment for those who will enter Nagoya University’s Doctoral Course or Doctoral Course in Medicine in April or October 2024 (*1)
3. AY2023 Additional Recruitment for those who will enter the 2nd year of Doctoral Course (or the 3rd year of Doctoral Course in Medicine) in April or October 2024
4. AY2023 Additional Recruitment for those who will enter the 3rd year of Doctoral Course (or the 4th year of Doctoral Course in Medicine) in April or October 2024
(*1) Students in the second year of the Doctoral Course in Medicine are eligible. (Students in the first year of the Doctoral Course in Medicine will be eligible.)
However, an individual who does falls into any of the following categories at the time of admission to the Doctoral Course is ineligible:
(1) A student who is deemed to be receiving stable income from their university or company, such as a salary or executive remuneration, at a level sufficient to cover living expenses (approximately 2.4 million yen/year)
(2) International student receiving the Monbukagakusho Scholarship
(3) International student receiving scholarships from their home country
(4) An individual in the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science’s Research Fellowship for Young Scientists
