11月2日（木）に第25 回グローバル人材のための国際情勢講座「地球にやさしく、食べ続けたい。～食とSDGs～」を開催いたします。
第１部では国際農林水産業研究センターの飯山みゆき氏を講師にお迎えし、食とSDGs の関係についてご講演いただきます。
第２部では飯山氏に加え、4 名のパネリストをお迎えしてのパネルディスカッションを実施し、第３部では学生限定のラウンドテーブル（飯山氏との座談会）を予定しております。
なお、第1 部と第2 部は対面とオンラインのハイブリッドでの開催となります。
The Global Multi-Campus Initiative of Nagoya University is hosting an international affairs event on November 2nd Thursday (1:30 pm to 5 pm), which includes a special lecture on food sustainability, a panel discussion, and a round table for students.
Everyone is welcome to join!
This year’s seminar on international affairs features a special lecture, panel discussion, and a round table for students.
Our guest lecturer, Ms. Miyuki Iiyama, Information Program Director of the International Research Center for Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS), will discuss the history behind the current food systems, the relationship between food and the SDGs, and actions for planetary healthy eating practices. A panel discussion features five different experts to discuss issues and challenges surrounding our food system and food sustainability.
The round table provides students with an opportunity to meet and chat with the guest lecturer.

【Speaker】Miyuki Iiyama Program Director, Information Program,the Japan International Research Centerfor Agricultural Sciences (JIRCAS)Originally studying business and international relations in Keio University and University of Washington, Miyuki earned her MSc and Ph.D. degree in economics from the University of Tokyo. Her professional career included 10 years at the then World Agroforestry Centre, where she was especially assigned to do research on the evaluation of socio-economic and environmental viability of natural resource management within African smallholder systems. She joined JIRCAS in 2016, serving as Research Coordinator and Director of the Research Strategy Office, and since 2021 Program Director of the Information Program.
