JAXA is a national research and development agency and a core performance agency to support the Japanese government’s overall aerospace development and utilization. The Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) is a research institute that promotes space science research. I work as a researcher, a thermal engineer, and an educator in JAXA/ISAS. I will introduce my job in JAXA and how exciting the fusion of different job types is. I will share what to think when you choose career in academia. I will also talk what I thought about career when I was graduate student.
