NASA Asia Representative based at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan
Mr. Andy Masciola is the NASA Asia Representative based at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. In that role he is responsible for the coordination of NASA programs and interests in Asia, working with regional government officials and industry representatives on key aeronautics and space programs. Prior to his current role, Mr. Masciola worked for over nine years in various roles in the Office of International and Interagency Relations at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Mr. Masciola joined NASA in 2014 as a Presidential Management Fellow. He holds a M.A. in Security Studies from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs, as well as a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
