<About the presentation>

Speaker:Takumi MatsuokaGraduate school of Engineering
●Title: Develop of Surprising Ceramics Nanomaterials for Medical Sensor or Energy Conversion
●Detail:
I am working on the fabrication of ceramic nanomaterials with interesting performance properties. Ceramic nanomaterials are made by building up molecules like building blocks in water. I aim to use the fabricated ceramic materials to realize sensors for the identification of diseases and disorders. More recently, we have also been working on materials that can utilize accessible energy sources such as light, heat, and so on.

Speaker:Adella Anfidina PutriGraduate School of Environmental Studies
●Title: Environmental Education and Education for Sustainability in Indonesia's Curriculum
●Detail:
Educational policy plays a crucial role in promoting environmental education (EE) and education for sustainability (EfS) within the education system. This study examines how Indonesia's Curriculum incorporates EE and EfS into its educational policies. Through curriculum document analysis, the study reveals that the curriculum is heavily influenced by global or neoliberal ideology, which may create challenges for effectively integrating EE and EfS. The curriculum tends to view the environment mainly as a resource, aligning with neoliberal perspectives, which could limit its ability to fully support environmental and sustainability education.
