Speaker:DE OLIVEIRA CatiaGraduate School of International Development
●Title: The Impact of mining on the rural community economic activities in Mozambique
●Detail:
The mining companies use the same land the rural communities need to develop their economic activities. Therefore, for mining operations, people are moved to new areas, resulting in stress, food insecurity, disruption of economic activities, and socio-cultural harmony. My research analyzes how a mining company in Mozambique applies the law to minimize the adverse impact on the community.

●Title:Tailoring single-walled carbon nanotubes for perovskite solar cell's electrode
●Detail:
Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) are promising materials for energy devices due to their availability, excellent conductivity, stability, and flexibility. Such remarkable properties make SWCNT a cost-effective and versatile alternative to expensive metal electrodes such as gold, silver, copper, and aluminum. This discussion will mainly focus on some strategies for tailoring SWCNT as electrodes in perovskite solar cells.
