Bede Mickan博士は、産業界の課題と学術的な専門知識をつなぎ、有機廃棄物の管理において持続可能で商業的にも実現可能な処理方法の開発に取り組んでいます。
Mickan博士の研究では、堆肥化・発酵・嫌気性消化などのプロセスを通じた栄養素の回収と、応用微生物技術の革新に注力しています。
また、問題解決型学習を通じた学生の指導にも情熱を注いでおり、環境と経済の両面に利益をもたらすサーキュラーエコノミーの推進にも力を入れています。

Dr. Mickan bridges industry challenges with academic expertise to develop sustainable, commercially viable solutions for organic waste management. His work focuses on nutrient recovery and applied microbiological innovation in composting, fermentation, and anaerobic digestion.
He is passionate about mentoring students through problem-based learning and promoting circular economy outcomes that benefit both the environment and the
economy.
