●Title:Negotiating Dynamics of Foreign Support and Women’s Resistance: The Case of Afghanistan Women’s Movement under Taliban Rule Post-2021
●Detail:
Afghanistan women have continued to resist the Taliban’s restrictions since 2021, organizing protests, advocacy, and underground networks. My research examines how these women interact with or respond to support from the international community. I aim to understand how outside help can strengthen their efforts without limiting their voice or agenda, and what this means for women’s rights in Afghanistan.

●Title: SoccerSynth-Detection: A Synthetic Dataset for Soccer Player Detection
●Detail:
In soccer video analysis, reliable player detection is key to spotting important moments and mapping team tactics. However, crowded scenes, players blocking each other, and copyright rules mean datasets are few and not very varied. To tackle this, we present SoccerSynth-Detection, a computer-generated dataset for player detection that includes random lighting, textures, and simulated camera motion blur. We found that well-designed synthetic data can stand in for limited real data when training detectors for soccer video analysis.
