Take your virtual learning global and earn a certificate while exchanging with students around the globe during this intensive e-learning course which teaches participants to:
・Identify the ways in which culture influence their worldview
・Identify their own cultural preferences and have the tools to understand the preferences of others
・Promote cultural awareness in personal and professional settings
・Implement strategies for working effectively across cultural difference
Participants should expect 2+ hours of independent work and a live video chat daily. The time of the live interaction will be determined after all applications have been processed.
Day 1: Introduction and Foundations for Developing Cultural Competence
Day 2: Developing Cultural Knowledge
Day 3: Honing Cultural Skills
Day 4: Reflection and Retention
* There is a 13 hour time difference between North Carolina and Japan. Please note that classes may be held at midnight Japan time when taking online courses.
