NC State University Global Training Initiative (GTI) offers a virtual cultural exchange experience to our global partners. Students gain valuable theoretical framework and practical skills while exchanging with students around the globe during this intensive e-learning course which teaches participants to:
・Identify their own cultural preferences and have the tools to understand the preferences of others
・Develop cultural knowledge, awareness and understanding
・Implement strategies for living, studying and working in international and cross-cultural settings

“Having these conversations helped me dispel misconceptions about other cultures and share perspective on my own culture. It was designed as a respectful, judgement-free environment and opened up my mind to the cultures of the world.”
