Developing a robotic system for minimally invasive endoscopic surgery
<Detail>
Current advances in the development of robotic-assisted technologies for surgery have proven to be effective in reducing patient trauma and hospitalization time by preventing the risk of complications. Robotic systems can enhance surgeon’s capabilities with improved precision and safety during the operation, improving ergonomics, and decreasing the surgeon’s effort. In this talk, will introduce our efforts on developing an intuitive and dexterous robotic system for endoscopic endonasal surgery, a minimally invasive technique for the removal of pituitary tumors located at the skull base.

Vehicle positioning using LED lamps and cameras
<Detail>
In recent years, the rapid development of autonomous driving has dramatically changed the way we think about automobiles. A vehicle can locate itself via the positioning systems in autonomous driving. This presentation is going to introduce a vehicle positioning method using ubiquitous LED lights (e.g. traffic lights, car headlights, and taillights).
