International Abduction of Children by Parents:Vietnam and the 1980 Hague Convention
<Detail>
When an international marriage breaks down, one parent may take the children back home without consultation with the other parent. The 1980 Hague Convention is an attempt to solve this “kidnapping” situation. Let us examine Vietnam’s approach to effective use of this convention to enforce the child’s return.
