名古屋大学融合フロンティアフェローシップ事業（融合フロンティアフェロー）（2022年度実施）

　名古屋大学（以下「本学」という。）は、「融合領域を開拓し、未来の知の創出や社会実装を担い、グローバルに活躍できる博士人材」の育成を目指しています。
　「名古屋大学融合フロンティアフェローシップ事業」（以下「本フェローシップ」という。）は、本学博士課程に進む学生が博士後期課程３年間を通じて、深い学識と卓越した能力を身につけ、その経験で培った様々な力を、博士学位取得後に社会の多様な場で発揮していただきたいという思いのもと作られた、研究と生活を両面からサポートする制度です。この制度を通じて、輩出する博士人材が、我が国の継続的な学術の深化や、次世代の科学技術・イノベーションの創出を担い、活力ある社会の構築に寄与することを期待するものです。

　本制度は、文部科学省「科学技術イノベーション創出に向けた大学フェローシップ創設事業(https://www.jst.go.jp/shincho/program/fellowship.html) 」と名古屋大学により実施されるものです。

支援内容	研究専念支援金180,000円／月、研究費250,000円／年　支給
支援期間	3年間（ただし、標準修了年限までの支援となります）

申請手続き　※詳細は募集要項・申請マニュアルを参照してください。

(1)応募情報登録【受付終了】

申請番号発行に必要な手続きとなります。登録フォームに必要事項を記入の上、期日までに登録をしてください。
※「融合フロンティア次世代リサーチャー」との併願不可。どちらかのプログラムを選んで１度のみ登録をしてください。
※第３志望までの応募分野を選択できます。（ただし、第２、第３志望は任意です。）
※所属研究科・専攻により申請可能分野が異なります。（募集要項の別表２をご参照ください。）※応募情報登録後は志望分野を変更できません。十分に確認した上で登録してください。

〇自動返信メールの確認について

登録後、入力したメールアドレスに受付完了通知と共に「申請番号」が自動返信されますので、必ず確認してください。
申請番号は、評価書（様式３）提出の際に必要ですので、評価書作成者（指導教員等）と共有してください。

面接審査日　

第1次審査（書類選考）通過者は、第2次審査（面接選考）を実施致します。
ただし、第１次審査通過者のうち、第１次審査の結果により、第2次審査を免除し、第１次審査をもって合格とする場合があります。
第2次審査（面接選考）は，第1次審査（書類選考）通過者のうち，第2次審査免除者を除き実施致します。
また、審査は、初めに申請のあった第一志望の分野により実施しますが、応募状況により、第二志望の分野で審査を行う場合があります。
第二志望以降の分野での選考においても面接審査を行う場合があります。

Nagoya University (hereinafter referred to as “the University”) aims to foster doctoral human resources who can advance the interdisciplinary frontier, create future knowledge, implement it in society, and play an active role globally.

The Nagoya University Interdisciplinary Frontier Fellowship (hereinafter referred to as “the Fellowship”) is an academic system designed to support both the research and the livelihood of students who enroll in the doctoral program of the University in the hope that they will acquire considerable knowledge and outstanding abilities during the three years of the doctorate program and will demonstrate their wide-ranging faculties cultivated through their experience in various fields in society after obtaining their doctoral degree.

Through this system, the University expects that successful doctoral graduates will contribute to the continued deepening of science and technology in Japan, the creation of next-generation science, technology, and innovation, and the construction of a vibrant society.

The University Fellowship Establishment Project for the Creation of Science and Technology Innovation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (https://www.jst.go.jp/shincho/program/fellowship.html )and Nagoya University jointly implement this system.

(1) Registration of application information　*Closed.

This registration is required for the issuing of an application number. Please fill out the application registration form and register by the due date.

* You can only register once, whether for the “Nagoya University Interdisciplinary Frontier Fellowship” or the “THERS Interdisciplinary Frontier Next Generation Researcher”.
* Select your first to third choice of application fields. (However, second and third choices are optional.)
* The field to which you may apply will vary depending on your graduate school or major. Refer to Appendix 2 of the Application Guidelines.
* Please note that the field of application cannot be changed after application registration.

〇About the application number

You will be notified of your application number in an automatic reply email after completing the pre-application registration.
Your application number is also required for the evaluation document (Form 3), so please share the application number with the person who prepared Form 3 (Academic Advisor Evaluation).

If you cannot see the automated reply, it may be in your email junk folder, or you may not have registered successfully. If you have not received the email response, be sure to confirm using the Inquiry Form.

Interview Day

We will conduct a 1st screening (document screening) and a 2nd screening (interview screening). However, some applicants who pass the 1st screening may, depending on their 1st screening results, be exempted from the 2nd screening and be accepted based only on the 1st screening. The 2nd screening (interview screening) is conducted for those who pass the 1st screening (document screening), except for those who are exempted from the 2nd screening.
The screening will basically be conducted based on your first choice field, although this may be changed to your second choice field, depending on the state of applications.
