Outline of the lectures:
In this series of four lectures, we trace the history of Japan’s environmental policies and approach to global environmental issues. Furthermore, we will propose a new framework to deal jointly with COVID-19 and environmental issues, as well as looking at the way forward for a sustainable future for the Asian region. The first, second and fourth lectures will be held online, and the third lecture will take place at Nagoya University.
